The key to understanding is in both words. We need to do a better job at it

Treachery (jev)©
Sometimes wisdom does not come with age.
Human nature is such that violence is the answer to get what we want.

Where have i seen this before... (jev)©
Well this was interesting... Its been a while since i've posted but i was just on Netflix minding my own beezwax when i saw it. A poster for a movie called Predestination.
Predestination is a 2014 Australian science fiction mystery thriller film written and directed by The Spierig Brothers, based on the 1959 short story "'—All You Zombies—'" by Robert A. Heinlein. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Sarah Snook and Noah Taylor.
It hit me immediately because i've definitely seen this artwork or something just like it before. Matter of fact it looked almost like something i did years ago, 2006 to be precise and uploaded here in 2007.

Now i ain't gonna say they stole my look, but... I know what i'm looking at. Don't get me wrong my idea isn't a new one, but damn, it surprised me.
So this is artwork I called Into The Unknown
And this is the Poster for the movie, there were others used (I don't care for those) but this seems to be the main one/theme used the most.
Pretty sure it was done by one of these same studio that does almost all these Hollywood movie posters, and that's why they almost always look the same.
It's all good tho, found me a new movie to watch and maybe get me active again in posting all the artwork I have piled up on the computer.

Murdock or Fisk? (jev)©
Having binge watched all the episodes this past weekend I had to do something quick. I really wanted to show both Matt and Wilson in a single image without doing the half and half and with as little detail as i wanted. Seemed to come out okay, so here it is.
I recommend everyone go watch it now, It's the best Marvel has done for the small screen so far.
Netflix can't loose with this one, cannot wait for the second season.
SOME MEN THINK THEMSELVES KINGPIN OR A DAREDEVIL. OTHERS, JUST A NORMAL PERSON.

New westindi logo (jev)©
So this is the new logo I've been wanting to change to for a very long time now. With the new look, it's a bit more Caribbean now, a lot fresher and flat.
It's also a play on those 80's beach tees I used to have growing up and being from the islands those type of designs were/are always in style.
This will be my standalone logo sig for profile pics. When you look at it, it's a bit hard to see exactly what it is but that's ok. That's how I wanted it. It's the beach house window shutter view.
For the W I used three of them to give me the shape I was going for, I wanted it to look like a beach hut or a lifeguard's tower. This meant having to go through a ton of typefaces until I found the one that would work best.
I also wanted it to flip, so that you would always see the W with any three colours I chose.
And this last one is all the elements together. Both the Colour and Black & White.

my dog (jev)©
Dogs have opinions on design matters too. Sometimes, maybe.
And sometimes a dog is just a dog. Why all the Comic Sans hate?

Blood Diamond (jev)©
This was a poster i did like two years ago, not sure why i never got around to posting it up.
If you had to choose one scene from the movie to sum it up, i think this would be the one (spoiler alert).

Melodiq Feel so Good LP(jev)©
Melodiq - It Feels So Good (Richard Layvins Remix)
I hated the official album art i saw for it, so i did one that would fit with the feel of the track.
